THE HESTER SPOON
Given to the winner of the annual culinary competition held at Angels Anniversary. This is one of the oldest contests in the Kingdom, and is so named because the original token was a mother-of-pearl spoon (hence the whimsical reference to Hester Prynne, who is admittedly a bit past the SCA period.) In recent Angels history, the winner determines the category for the upcoming year.
