Baron & Baroness FAQ

Background:
Baron Jason Thomas the Wanderer (Jay Mayer) is mundanely, a graphic artist who spent much of his work life in the aerospace industry. He has been involved in merchanting in the SCA since the beginning with his lady wife and has been in a few different Faire reenactment groups as well. While hard working, even under brutal physical conditions, Jason's artistic temperament can often be seen in his love for order and flow. Generous and jovial, Jason always loves a good joke, good music and works of masterful art.

Baroness Morgaine FitzSterphen (Susan Mayer) is mundanely a bookkeeper and manager of over 9 small companies in the Southern California area. Like her Lord husband, she has been involved in reenactment groups for many years and was one of the very first costuming merchants in all of Caid. An expert in spinning and weaving, her custom tartan wool shawls adorn the shoulders of many of the royal ladies of the SCA. Morgaine is generous with her time and energy despite her arthritis, and is always willing to teach and share in her love of fiber arts.

Care and feeding:
Jason likes good coffee with milk or cream. He is diabetic, so please don't feed him sugar. He is thoroughly omnivorous, but won't eat liver or other organ meat unless it's in sausage and he doesn't know it's there. Jason is allergic to pennicillin. Weaknesses: ice cream, all sweets, mangoes, cashews, Lobster Thermidore, sugar free butterscotch pudding. Motifs and Themes: Stags.

Morgaine likes hot tea with milk and honey, iced tea with lemon only, Diet Coke and red wine. She loves very sharp Cheddar cheese as well as Stilton, fruits, dark chocolate, but must stay away from dark chocolate raspberry oranges as she is allergic to something in the ingredients. Other food allergies are Swiss cheese, teriyaki sauce and eggplant. Weaknesses: cashews, Merlot, cheddar cheese, curry. Motifs and Themes – Ravens, sheep, dragonflies, anything Tolkein.
