While the Barony hosts unofficial groups which are part of her glory, as well the Barony is fertile land for the development of noble households and brave militia. The barony would not be what it is today without the diverse pallette of people which reside and serve within our borders.

Blackrune Free Company Hosted by House Blackrune, founded in 1983, this fighting unit is centered in the Canton of the Canyons. It is an association of fighter units and free men of the sword who came together form a larger more formidable fighting force. Participation in the Free Company does not convey membership in House Blackrune.		Bloody Harlequins A fighting unit that fought as part of the Blackrune Free Company for many years til mustering out as their own unit.
House Deteriorata Founded in 1988(?), a pirate vessel that has, until recently, fought as members of the Blackrune Free Company and do still from time to time.
