New to the SCA? Want to know what we are all about? You’ve come to the right place!

SCA-THE DREAM from Raiya Corsiglia on Vimeo.

The SCA is a medieval reenactment society with an emphasis on pre 17th european history, although there are people who focus on Asian and the america’s history as well. Anything that you can imagine having been done in history there is an analog for. Interested in getting in armor and fighting in chivalric combat? We’ve got that! Looking to learn to make amazing garb? We’ve got that too! Looking to make beverages, adult and not? Or learning to shoot a bow, throw an axe or ride a horse? We’ve got that as well. There are more activities then we can reasonably put on this page, but if you are still interested here is someone whose done the work for me.

Is this expensive to get into?
Firstly we have loaner armor, and loaner garb so you can start today, and see if it is something you would be interested in doing. Secondly we have many amazing crafts persons that can guide and may even show you how to build good looking starter garb and armor, for not very much at all. And lastly practice is free to attend, so come by and ask us any questions you may have.
