The Seraph is the monthly newsletter the Barony of the Angels, Kingdom of Caid, SCA Inc. Published around the 15th of each month as a .pdf file, the free electronic newsletter contains information relevant to members of the Barony including:
|
missives from our Baron and Baroness, John and Flavia
minutes from the previous month's Baronial council meeting
reports from Baronial officers
official notices about SCA, Kingdom, and Baronial matters
information about upcoming events
"how-to" articles
original artwork and photos
book reviews, movie reviews
museum and theatrical happenings relevant to the Current Middle Ages
and, of course, much much more!

Because The Seraph is published in .pdf format, you will need the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. You don't need Adobe Acrobat itself to install and use the free Reader. If for some reason you cannot access the .pdf newsletter files, please contact the Baronial Webwright at webwright at sca-angels dot org.
Submissions are due to the Chronicler's Office by the 1st of each month. Electronic article (written) submissions should be in .doc or .rtf format. Multiple submissions should be sent in a .zip file. Original artwork should be submitted in black & white. Please use .gif or .jpg format for electronic submissions. Borders and interstitial art are always welcome! Photos (medium to high-resolution .jpg format) are also welcome.
NOTE: No artwork or photos can be published without receipt of signed SCA Creative Works Release or either the Society Model Release or Society Photographer Release form. These are located at chronicler dot sca-caid org/index.php#forms. If your photo includes a minor you must obtain and transmit a signed release form with the photograph.
If you do NOT wish your likeness to appear in the newsletter, please notify the Baronial Chronicler via email.
Occasionally, submissions need to be edited for size, content and/or grammar. The Chronicler's office will not change any submission without first consulting the author(s).
Become part of the Vox Angelorum! The Seraph is a wonderful way to participate in the Barony.
